“It is what it is” - This is how the market works and is a good example of why the market doesn’t always work in customers favour - also why we need the government (if we actually had one) to step in and limit price increases.

Jeez… what a contest! One so stupid she thinks “I want to hit the ground” is a campaign slogan and one so rich he is out of touch with everyone apart from his own personal tax advisor. Johnson set the bar pretty low but not totally clear the Tories have managed to get over it.

What did all the candidates telling us they have honour and integrity do when Pincher was promoted? Where were they? They all cared when it suited them, why didn't they care sooner?

Just posted a copy of this to the Jisc Yammer channel... I know you've been desperate to see it again! Of course, most people in @jisc have no idea what the Jisc Information Environment was - nor should they to be fair.

Labour should be claiming the moment, issuing a joint statement with the leaders of all other parties in the Commons saying never again shall we suffer this fiasco and that they commit to parliamentary reform in the national interest, now. But there’s not a word to be heard.

“Should I stay or should I go now?” - Boris Johnson’s answer currently appears to be neither :-(
Where does this complete and utter bullshit that Boris Johnson “got us thru the pandemic” come from? - the Tory party remain delusional and corrupt

Yet another pathetic attempt at deflection by Raab… the political attack is, rightly, against Johnson, not against his wife

Woah... I've been thinking about my retirement in terms of 3 months, 2 months, 1 month... now it suddenly seems to have turned into 11 working days (because I'm taking lots of Fridays and Mondays off to use up leave) - how did that happen?!

Wtf… leaders across the country were “recognising achievement and preserving morale’ using Zoom or similar - I know plenty of people that never had a f2f leaving or retirement party - that was just how it was for most people
