I hope remains involved as a vocal opponent of Brexit & continues to speak out courageously & knowledgeably.

So: May not only threw away a working commons majority, but also lost benefit of Salisbury Convention to get things through Lords. Ha ha.

This election is a rejection of May and hard Brexit. A vote for one to go and the other to be revisited.

Fair enough, I didn't see anything positive at all, just attack ads and horrible trolling. But maybe I'm not target market ;-)

It has already cost us. Think back to May 2015, coalition government. Look at us now. A laughing stock, and it's not just the Tories' fault.

Here in Sheffield Hallam Labour heavily targeted misleading dark ads at Lib Dem voters which doesn't seem to tally with this article.

So so close - agonising miss by just 2 votes! An excellent effort by and her team

Mrs May calls an election the UK didn't need: Loses it, and stays in opower: just politics? or snubbing the democratic will of the people?

Also, this was knowlingly a lie. Lib Dems had repeatedly ruled out coalition or even a deal.

Suspect Labour care more about being one of top two parties v occasionally winning on their own, than working with others in a fair system.

All those & their media shills & their faux outrage at Tim Farron's non existent homophobia. No problems with the I see.

In that case Labour must change their position - they said they'll leave single market. About time they fought rather than pandered.

Safe to say there will be buyers' remorse in Sheffield Hallam today, amongst both Labour and Conservative voters.

Dear Labour/Lab supporters, please listen. A consensus based on sgl mkt membership could have legs. Get Lab to drop their hard Brexit pos.

Just think what Labour could have achieved if they weren't trying to make sure Lib Dems lost in Lib Dem Tory marginals, eh?

Moderates in Labour should also ask themselves why they're celebrating (without ref to tired tropes that weren't fair in first place).
