Addendum: Remember that mourning is a process that happens on its own timeline, not yours or anyone else's. You shouldn't be, "over it," yet, just because X amount of time has passed.

THANK YOU!! I have been a Hospice volunteer for 25 years and I agree wholeheartedly!! We have a camp, Camp Skylark, for children 7 to 12. Every Sept for the last 15 years, I volunteer, to spend the weekend with some of the bravest souls on this earth and I will remember this!

I don’t watch basketball. I wouldn’t know Kobe if he had come up and slugged me, but the sadness of a father dying, so young, leaving behind a wife and daughters, a 13 year old daughter dying with him is just heart breaking. I mourn for him and worry about those he left behind.
