I’m testing out the 2021 Cadillac Escalade this week, and i can’t get over how dangerously huge this vehicle is. This is so unnecessary.pic.twitter.com/dS7UrB0cC1

imagine using the word “Escy” unironically, couldn’t be me
Good story. Old suburban feels like a toy next to this thing.
Have to say I agree with everything you’ve written, but please do remember to put “American” everywhere next time. This is a US-specific problem.
It looks heavy! Could not find anything about the environment in the article but there are more ways than safety to mess up the future of a kid. Cars this heavy should not be allowed if they run on any type of fossil fuel IMO.
Oh it is right there, thanks for including it as well!
I was “upgraded” to a 2020 Escalade last winter in Bozeman, MT. During the 2 lane highway drive to Yellowstone I struggled to literally keep the car on the road. It was terrifying. I felt like I should have been required to have a commercial lisence to drive the thing.
Thanks for the writeup, nicely done. Did @Cadillac react to your review?
I wonder if they'll ever reach out to you about a test offer again
