Of course, they will support packaging! So if you just want to package a bunch of cool functions as a kind of library to fellow devs and of course admins via low code, you can.

Sir, this is just awesome . Power of npm libraries in salesforce is a big game changer . Kudos and thanks for this awesome feature . Any idea when this will be GA ?

You can register your interest via the blog for our dev preview in the spring release. We will need to go through pilot and beta, so GA will not be June sorry.... but we are pushing hard to bring it to you as soon as possible.
