    There's a danger that we focus on site speed as an end in itself rather than how it influences our visitors behaviour and ultimately our sites' success We've got to be more effective at linking them together

    Instead of making offenders wear high viz jackets in chain gangs, how about helping them get a real job instead? In my shops we employ lots of ex offenders and they wear a shirt and tie. Same people, different approach, a much better outcome.

    This makes me feel a bit sick. Not only are those calling out the lies held to higher account than the liars, but a white woman ejects a black woman from the room. There's no truth to power in this country.

    We're always looking for new speakers with a variety of viewpoints so if you want to be on a future line-up it starts by filling in our pitch form

    has done it again, it set the standard with a 61% women speaker line-up 💪🏽 54 out of 88 speakers are brilliant women in our industry, taking the stage and sharing their knowledge and experience with us! Thank you to the team for setting the standard 🙏🏽

    We've loved that we've been able to work with on discounts and scholarships. As mentioned there are scholarship tickets so if you're able to help by paying that little bit extra it really makes a difference ♥️

    Running my workshop with the team's allowed me to be 100% in charge of discounts and scholarship tickets. I woke up this morning to a bunch of messages from people that got approved for parity pricing. 10/10 - all the warm fuzzy feels.

    I will never not be confused by why some people are so unwilling and angry about wearing a piece of cloth over their face and nose to keep themselves and others safe from a disease that can kill and cause long term harm. It's honestly just weird to me.

    Not quite sure why I’ve never really played with Puppeteer but… This week I’ve been poking at some CORS behaviour I didn’t understand and a short Puppeteer script made it so easy to generate both a HAR and a netlog Not sure I’ll ever use chrome://net-internals again!

    Your regular reminder to not use third-party CDNs for JavaScript libraries 👉 Yes, use a CDN (for all the performance and security benefits it brings), but a use first-party one (i.e. one pointing at your origin) and serve the libraries yourself.
