    Today I discontinued my stochastic node for the Unity shader graph. They've closed off the API so you can't write nodes without hacking the assemblies, and I'm just sick of dealing with them breaking things constantly. Use Amplify's Shader Editor, much better anyway.

    Just not really sure how to pitch the talk, this is quickly going to go into areas most artists won't follow, but I don't want to try to teach more experienced devs how to suck eggs

    I've been wanting for a while to see if we can get the ships from Worlds Adrift down to a handful of drawcalls (rather then 500-1000), I thought this could be a nice case study into some more esoteric rendering issues.
