We really enjoyed the Museum of Decorative Arts, but it's in Trondheim, not Oslo. If you have enough time, the train ride between the two is also lovely but it's six hours so it's more than a day trip.

Don't know whether LegoLand in Copenhagen quite counts, but it seems in this vein! Definitely architecture, and even, in a sense, new media!

The guided tour of the opera house in Oslo is really worth it. Really goes beyond the obligatory walk on the roof.
