for me its about paying attention to feelings - understanding is something that feels really comfortable, as if everything is in order...not understanding feels like you are looking for directions and no one speaks your language.

Yes! Alas, much danger arises if something feels really comfortable when indeed it *shouldn't*! Then we have to look for ways to create frisson or disequilibrium. I wonder what would happen if this product person watched his students playing e.g. Minecraft.
