I love this high-level overview of longevity research's status and current efforts from . I want this kind of “orientation guide” for every field! Perhaps a wiki? ldeming.com/longevityfaq/
(also great: the "How can I help?" button! let's make more of those too!)

I feel like a high level map isn't the correct approach in this case as the keywords and following definitions don't carry associated weight unless the individual has already studied them in depth.

I guess maybe it depends on what one is trying to do! I think of this as a way to orient studies in depth, rather than as a substitute.
I would rather it be structured around organ systems then; longevity depends on the interactions between the systems, and the drill down to organ and then tissue and then individual cell longevity. That's more of an outline.

For example, simply explaining "yeah IGF does something here" isn't as helpful as "the endocrine system has various components that we'll look at for senescence" (and for that matter GH should be mentioned alongside IGF...)
