In Smalltalk, little objects would compose in surprising ways, suggest new ideas. Working in was like sharing a Smalltalk VM.

I’d look over and notice “oh boy, that’s just what I needed!” or “oh wait I could make THIS to make THAT do… whoa!”
Some were making a particle emitter; one saw they could make a physical wand which puts *any* object’s drawings into the particle system! 😲
