I found that characterization really surprising—somehow seems too narrow?—but I don’t have a better angle on creativity vs imagination.

I picture a filtering step between those two. To me, creativity includes knowing/moving the boundary between impossible vs. possible.

I guess I don't love the “beyond”. It’s so much more cyclical than that! Creative creations create imagined images, imaged onto new creation
