I'm looking at the docs for a JS API and thinking "all I really want are the types of all these values that get passed around"

I totally want this too. On the flip side: in Haskell-land it’s common to *only* document types! (“they fully specify the behavior!”)

lol also super insufficient, and one reason haskell etc can be really hard to start into

still have flashbacks to people telling me to "read the headers" as if that explained why a class/fn _existed_
