This implementation is very far from system spec, both statically (no blur!) and in transitions. :/

I believe it! The blur’s another thing you actually can’t replicate. The Real Thing™ is a *dynamic* blur.

yes, we plan to add a native blur component to react native, or figure out a way use third party lib

Hey, good news: I’d thought this used private API, but just checked—looks like public APIs do this too!
Another I’m not sure how to replicate in JS: animating the KB alongside transitions. No public APIs… :/
