Arrow should mask text; arrow low-res, not pixel aligned. All reimpls have serious craft issues—I think reimpl is a bad idea.

If Draft.js can abstract the horrifying contenteditable model, we can abstract the horrifying UINavController model. :)

we had an open issue regarding this which got lost during the release. we want to make it look more native

I totally believe you can fix issues… but there are *so many* details that I’m skeptical anyone gets it all right.

I just fundamentally think reimplementing is a bad idea! Many thousands of lines of detail in that one component…
I think it's totally possible to get it match native. I'll be happy even if it matches 95%

re-implementing it in JS is allows much more flexibility than using native components
