I didn’t mean qualifications as in credentials! I meant like: “This is an important point, and I’m actually not contending it.”
But maybe you meant qualifying what I’m contending is missing the point, too, which I can understand in this context I guess!

regardless, i am happy that you or anyone else chooses to think about the issue. activism is the way forward, not despair.
