Curious: how do you see this as differentiating from e.g. CouchDB and its record syncing functionality? Ease of use?

native models, offline support, full sync without reconciliations. I've been using it a couple weeks and it's awesome.

Hm, wouldn’t e.g. github.com/couchbase/couc give you all those things? Models are Obj-C, but Realm’s are very Obj-C-y too.

realm has SQL-ish features and couch doesn't necessarily. Realm is also quite swifty now too.

it has SQL-ish features because it's essentially built on a SQL DB. which is nice for relational things.
