Many argue (& I often believe) we haven’t really learned an idea until we use it, eg in a project. What about abstract ideas like ontology?

one could argue that using in a project requires same lvl of understanding as being able to teach it

so, for abstract concepts, could consider being able to explain them well enough as having learned them?
