I don't understand all the hate about the rails post. It is valuable perspective but people seem to feel personally attacked?

FWIW I’ve felt exactly the same thing as I’ve fluttered from platform to platform. People are always shocked that I “jumped ship”
Reflecting: I’ve felt the same thing with paradigms. e.g. I contributed to FRP; now I’m skeptical; some FRP people feel attacked.
