Do you know of any resources for thinking through data flow in UIKit between controller, table view, cell, and gestures?

Basically, how to update part of a cell without reloading the cell, those sort of things. I'm trying to think tree-&-leaves.

bluh yeah that’s hard. we do some cheap diffing. don’t know UIKit-specific resources but learning react+redux helps a lot.

Thanks for the response! Is retaining an optional weak ref to the cell a bad idea? Seems like I want my view controller...

to be responsible for how a cell's views are set, rather than passing a model down to the cell (view) for its interpretation

yes I think this is probably a bad idea—too much responsibility. can make cell consume ViewData type with precise info it needs
