I suspect the feels of Obj-C developers are intentionally not a high priority—there were never that many. All about next gen… I don't think that's true. Self selection is a fundamental problem with open processes though. Yeah, think that’s right. And obviously I defer to you on motivations/priorities! i’ve been writing obj-c for 26 years. Exciting to see swift develop, but I expect it will land well. in other words, I agree :-) The ObjC fans within Apple are still there, and we still work with them internally. As a huge ObjC fan, Swift hits all my itches. For me Swift is just ObjC 10.0 come way early.
