I think people are happy with RN’s “Animated”: facebook.github.io/react-native/d. (Gesture support still nowhere near done though.)

what about react-motion? Do you recommend it? It might help sharing code between web/native.

C++ now and shared Swift in a few years. If there's only be better C++ - Swift interop that'd be perfect. (But C works well)

most non-heavy parsing/processing apps would be even better with JS, if treated as asm and using a better type checked lang.
