Not sure if any of you can comment, but is there hope for interruptible animations in the post-iOS 7 world?

Yes: use Pop to drive layout parameters you define; implement idempotent layout based on those parameters.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant, is there hope for future interruptible system / SpringBoard animations. :)
