I notice that you don’t like MVVM. Can you point out to some alternatives patterns / approaches that you like.

I like MVVM if view model handles only data transforms, not actions. Don't really love named patterns. Decompose; isolate; think.

But where'd you handle actions. In the VC? How'd you test that if X input is provided the VM / model properties are updated?
