Copy a view from one xib to another, and now hitTest is broken and the gesture recognizers text fields from becoming key.

If hitTest is broken, what’s left to trust? I don’t know how to recover from this short of rebuilding the xib from scratch.

This is what I hate about developing on Apple’s platforms. I have to solve {Cocoa,Xcode}’s problems before I can solve mine.

In contrast, developing against WPF has been fresh air. I have to cope with essential complexity & my own short-sightedness. That’s enough.

If Xamarin weren't proprietary, I think that would be my new platform.
