Anyone know why UITabBar has a ~0.5s delay on touchdown? Guessing something to do with the control center gesture?

sorry as in, it shouldn’t do that, or sorry it needs to do that but yuck? Want to know if I should replicate. :^)

Actually I think I might be making that up. Looks like there's some delay even with the gesture off.

I think the extra delay I'm seeing with the gesture off is just various apps being slow though.

there’s definitely a difference with CC on/off in the AppStore app. Guessing requires failure on something private. :^(

Should just be default behavior: there's a gesture on the window which has delaysTouchesBegan set to YES.

yeah I guess you are right, can’t tell on simulator, but on device I think it’s noticeable (or I’m imagining it).
