I thought Swift doesn’t allow for concrete subclasses of generic superclasses? You know *way* more Swift than I do though.

"allow" is probably too strong a word since it just crashes at runtime instead :(

Silver lining: at least sounds like a compiler limitation rather than a design decision?

Yeah, we try to avoid the codegen limitation by preventing 'class Foo: Bar<Int>', but we miss 'Foo<T>: Bar<Int>'.

So we may get ‘class Foo: Bar<Int>’ in the future?
