Increasingly unsure why I allow myself to depend on proprietary tooling. Swift and Xcode are really making me question myself.

I spent this week rewriting all my Swift code in C and it feels so good

Haha nice. Are you feeling good because you can control perf, because the tooling works, or because you aren't held hostage?

I was gonna rewrite it eventually for the latter two reasons but my parser/code generator needed to be faster noq
