LT: What’s the proper way for preventing a popover from showing up on 6+ landscape?

Present a view controller using UIModalPresentationPopover.

yes that causes it to show up as a popover, I don’t want it to. Want it to use adaptivePresentationStyle on 6+

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. Set overrideTraitCollection to have a compact horizontal size class.

yeah I tried that in my PresentationController, doesn’t seem to work. Am I supposed to do it elsewhere?

Hm, that's surprising. , do you recall? Does it have to be set on the parent or something?

as a test, I created a UIWindow subclass which returns a compact h. trait and that worked, but eek.

Setting an override on the presentation con is too late. Set it on a parent view controller of the presenter.
