I say with confidence as a former UIKit author: React's model for the UI layer is vastly better than UIKit's. React Native is a *huge* deal.

I just worry that ReactJS app will have a short shelf-life come iOS 9 or even iOS 10. Is that not a potential issue?

So has been some of the UIKit code I wrote for iOS 4 but still works fine in iOS 8.
