Let's talk about making portable libraries with Swift clients. Has anyone made a tool yet to autogen Obj-C wrappers for C++ interfaces?

Agreed. Both J2ObjC and Djinn gen Obj-C, thankfully. Will still often have to write Swift facades, I expect.

Depends how soon Swift can talk to C++…(or will we see Obj-C @-annotations for currently Swift-only types?)

AFAIK direct Swift to C++ hasn’t been mentioned anywhere. It is in Apple’s interest that Swift remains a silo.
