Let's talk about making portable libraries with Swift clients. Has anyone made a tool yet to autogen Obj-C wrappers for C++ interfaces?

Yeah, so the question is: better to use Java as lingua franca over C++?

Agreed. Both J2ObjC and Djinn gen Obj-C, thankfully. Will still often have to write Swift facades, I expect.

Depends how soon Swift can talk to C++β¦(or will we see Obj-C @-annotations for currently Swift-only types?)

AFAIK direct Swift to C++ hasnβt been mentioned anywhere. It is in Appleβs interest that Swift remains a silo.
