Loading is so slow on the new iPad app. No images to answer questions and no progress. UIWebView too slow?

UIWebView *is* quite slow, but I expect what you're seeing is due to server issues we're fighting this afternoon.

Spike in usage slowing everything down? Which parts of the app are UIWebView and which are native?

We think it was a memcache failure. Exercises and articles are rendered via UIWebView; the rest is native.

When do you switch to WKWebView? :) @AvecSophia

prototyped it out; it was painful because we need file:/// access and didn't perform much better. :/ @avecsophia

Images are loading in the questions but the points don't show up at the end. Server issues still?

thanks - the buttons are pretty snappy and responsive for a webview. that's impressive (even if I can't get my points!)

@AvecSophia The buttons and chrome are all native. Not sure what's up with the network—away from a computer.

@AvecSophia OK! Back home, not sure yet what's going on, hope I can ask a few Qs. Is this 100% reliable or intermittent? Fixed if you login?
