Accidentally caused a serious iOS 7-only bug in the KA app because of a UIKit behavior change *that I made* in iOS 8. Deserved it, I guess.

I changed the API contract in iOS 8, so there was no UIKit bug there. Just poking fun at my old team's engineering practices. :)
