Everyone has an automatic response to file a Radar in response to noticing any defect; people will harangue you if you don't.

Yep. On the outside, people say things like "oh, yeah, I saw that glitch last week."

It’s not just that though right? Radar is the source for truth for almost *everything*. POR is radar, not in some email etc.

Ehhhhh… I don't think that's actually true. High-level milestones and feature roadmapping were pretty poorly reflected in Radar.

I guess I was thinking about after every exec review tons of radars were filed/updated. I found was a good way to be updated

Right. But mostly those radars were very poor quality. Would contain a sentence fragment as description, require email followup.
