Apple had dogmatism going for it. When you're a huge corporation, you can set policies rigidly. "You must"s are easier. :/

Yes—if for no other reason than saving institutional knowledge. Omni sometimes forgets that it exists apart from its people.

Yeah, Radar could form a good historical record. Culture wasn't as strong there. Many bugs would be fixed without comment.
