I think Apple succeeded by coercion. It wasn't really an option.

Not to mention the whole "agile" inability to deal with the concept of "maintenance."

Radar itself is hilariously baroque. But, yeah, it's more the process/culture. Can't address Facebook's stuff.

Right, Apple's culture is oriented around releases. That was a disconnect working with web people at Square.
