This really makes me eager for the day we can just pass generics to Obj-C… or the entirety of UIKit is redone in Swift :)

I suspect we'll just end up facading over awkward Obj-C APIs. I've been writing a lot of those recently.

The facading effort will perhaps be slightly diminished by Swift's (semi-)lack of dynamism / preprocessor.

Word. Honestly, what I've been doing could be better described as "walling off" than facading. Too many objects; too much state.
