let’s admit that the API is poorly done on this matter. It should be simpler to have an anim end “stick”

I disagree. Animations can contribute to model values in ways which are not readily bijective, c.f. isAdditive.

yes, but given how many questions there is about it, the simple case “anim from value A to B” is too complex
