I’ve looked around for solutions to build an iOS-Mail-like “More” button. That this is not public API makes me sad. gist.github.com/steipete/10541

I remember asking Andy Matuschak right after the keynote last year about this and he said it was customizable behavior :P

I’m sure it’s like many things: initially intended to be customizable, but a reason comes not to.

It could even be made public retroactively in SDK 8 for iOS 7. Not the first time Apple did this.
