Genuinely curious: why have faith in that notion of God+teachings instead of some other one (Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, etc)?

Personal evidence. I believe God can and does speak, and has confirmed to me this doctrine. And will do so to all who ask.

Interesting! Can I ask: in what sense do you mean he confirmed to you this doctrine? I assume there’s a metaphor here re. “speak.”

For me, it’s often a forceful feeling of “Yes, this is right” when I read or study it.
