Genuinely curious: why have faith in that notion of God+teachings instead of some other one (Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, etc)?

Personal evidence. I believe God can and does speak, and has confirmed to me this doctrine. And will do so to all who ask.

One basic teaching is that we should *all* learn to receive revelation from God. Not just rely on scripture or leaders.
