LT: Shouldn’t tableView.panGestureRecognizer.maximumNumberOfTouches = 1 prevent 2 finger scrolling?

No; it just won’t track the second finger (so another gesture can grab it).

is there some magic combination to have a 2 finger swipe recognizer not delay a 1 finger pan? (and thanks)

If the pan recognizes first (by 10pt movement), it’ll cancel the swipe.

I want the pan to get cancelled/ended as soon as the 2nd finger touches down, maybe just as long as the swipe is possible.

Make a 0s long-press which requires two fingers, have it exclude the pan.
