So, just finished Simple Made Easy for the first time. I agree with the premise, but not all of the conclusions.

For example, types are not simple, but they’re great documentation and error checking for coworkers and future me.

If I had to summarize my criticism, I’d say that sometimes other goals become more important for maintainability.
