imo women who are very into feelings should on average prioritize meditation towards insight and equanimity over more feelings / integration, men should on average prioritize integration / IFS type things until 100% of feelings are embodied over meditative insight

you want both, and they help each other, and a lot of people have way over-prioritized one based on which they find more interesting and natural. Leaning into the one you find more awkward will prob be more fruitful per hour invested bc you’ll get early gains

I don’t know why it’s so split across gender, but many women I meet do a thousand hours of IFS but have no concentration or insight into emptiness etc, and many men have the opposite. Latter more dangerous, former just very slow, both would benefit from the other

obv it has nothing to do with gender though, it’s just a correlate. I know a few men who I think go too far into integration and not far enough into insight too. I don’t think I’ve ever met a women who leaned too hard into insight vs integration though
