Recalling and reusing your past work and knowledge in novel contexts is a superpower. In order to do this with that much information, compression into core takeaways and handles is imperative.

"Recall and apply" is the core of learning! Also, compression into mantras ('s atomic notes titles, for examples) is a great way to create "handles" you can use later.

I always thought that was the most under-appreciated part of his evergreen notes concept. Improves information density for communication b/w selves and others. I've been doing that + adding types for notes, prefixed for autocomplete. Questions, claims, decisions, evidence...
