Random funding thought:
In short term might be easier and more rewarding by going deeper with your current audience than optimizing for traffic
Thats also related to scene building - Did tech sales and marketing for 10 yrs, as a patron of yours I'd be happy to brainstorm $$$

That's extremely kind! I may take you up on that in the future, but I don't really want to engage in any proactive projects to increase revenue right now: I'm mostly writing about what I notice in terms of traffic because of the implications for other would-be para-academics!
