I was thinking about this like 2 days before they came out with DALL-E2 which was a funny coincidence 🙂

Yes, I expect so. There's a bunch of laboratory studies demonstrating improved recall with associated imagery (even if it's not perfectly meaningful); I expect these probably generalize.
