I think the dream here would be to be able to compose an Orbit-style SRS prompt as a block right within a CMS ( omg pretty please?!), and have that be shareable to Anki, Roam, , wherever the user wants Ex I write everything in RemNote/

Thank you to folks like @andy_matuschak , @michael_nielsen @MoritzW42 @gwern for being pioneers on this stuff. Someday soon, this sort of thing will be able to be serenely woven into "serious" (we don't want to say...academic) writing online. The benefits are so clear.

but I'm not sure about just embedding a public Rem onto a Ghost post and leaving it there - mostly because I don't know how it would hurt our SEO, but I assume a lot (need to research this tho). RemNote et al are designed to be PKMs first. 's Orbit has publishers

You're absolutely right about this problem. I think a good solution will be malleable, treat this stuff as portable structured data. I've built Orbit so that it can become as a conduit to other contexts (Anki, RemNote, etc), but still needs glue.

A somewhat deeper problem is that I don't feel sufficiently confident that we've settled on durable primitives. This stuff's all still in an experimental place, at least in my mind.

Thanks for the kind engagement as always, hoping the afternoon timestamp means your morning was full of writing ;) Would you say a bit more to what the term "durable primitives" means to you? Im not familiar w term. (Or links if you've written on it!)

Ah got it. Reminds me of the journey of the (now seemingly stalled) "Argument Web". Not sure if there's a way to overcome the subjectivity of defining a desirable 🧠-unit from a pedagogical perspective, but technically.."Texts to play peekaboo with"?
