excited to see what will come out of these “general-purpose” design engines. we’re still mainly only doing cards-on-a-canvas with basic drag-and-drop, but the foundation is there. as well, open-source projects like provide great material to experiment with the design

my fear is that we will simply build more paper-and-desk simulators, which doesnt fully make good on the promise of computers and digital material

that's one good marker, yes, so point taken. but i'd much rather see an explosion of a grand artistic community akin to tumblr in its prime.

That’s a terrible idea, and certainly not because I’m trying to make my own little take on HyperCard.
