Ah, Orwell and Feynman! The notion here is that the trope about creative suffering is common to both artists and to scientists. My own struggles have been largely in the context of the latter.

I was wondering how much relates to impostoritis.
And if writing fiction digs deeper into the creative struggle than writing non-fiction. Because fiction authors need to synthesize everything. And can't rely on existing matter.
Just a thought.
